Hue: Here until the End
Concept:
Our little hero, the box with the white beard, is trapped in a world that keeps repeating itself. Using his magic he can wander through this stagnated world, and bring order back to it. Every victory gives him more insight and allows him to unlock permanent monuments that will aid him in his progress, offering new powers or protection. |
Game Play:
The game play is fine tuned to be as responsive as possible. The hero has 3 attacks that correspond in colour to his enemies and environment. Blue attack destroys blue part of an object, green attack the green part and violet the violet part. This game is made to be very challenging, giving the player a range of dodging varieties to even the odds. The Player can choose between the action packed approach, magic wielding into battle, or patiently luring enemies to him in order to destroy them with targeted attacks. |
Game Design:
The design of this game focuses on the system of colours. Every object and enemy is randomly assigned one of the three colours, and in combination with that different behaviour/attacks or strategies. Every time the player dies everything is reset and newly generated except permanent structures the player can unlock by spending the points he has earned by defeating enemies or bosses. |
